Looking to refresh your look? The right haircut can completely change how you carry yourself. This year our chairs are seeing three big movements: texture on top, clean tapered sides, and finishes that work with your natural hair instead of against it.
1. The textured crop
Short, choppy length on top with a mid or high taper. It suits straight, wavy and curly hair alike, and styling takes two minutes with a matte paste. Ask your barber to keep weight through the fringe so it sits naturally.
2. The modern taper
Not a skin fade — a gradual taper that keeps the sideburn and neckline soft. It grows out gracefully, which means fewer emergency appointments and a cut that still looks intentional at week four.
3. The polished classic
Side parts and slicked-back finishes are back, cut with scissors for movement rather than stiffness. A dab of medium-hold cream keeps it in place without the helmet look.
What to tell your barber
- +Bring two or three photos — of your own hair on a good day, plus the goal.
- +Mention how much time you actually spend styling each morning.
- +Ask what the cut looks like in three weeks, not just today.
Bring a photo to your next visit and we will tailor any of these trends to your face shape and hair texture — that is what the consultation is for.
